Warlocks Journal 20: Chronomancy spells
The Warlock's Journal is an interdimensional book that teleports from place to
place¸ recording knowledge in whatever location it finds itself. The places it
goes may be widely separated in time and space and even be in different dimensions
or alternate realities.
The handful of people who have actually seen the book more than once suggest that
it sends its information back to some central location¸ as they have seen the book
nearly filled with information¸ only to find it almost empty again¸ or filled with
completely different information¸ at some later point.
Of course¸ since there is no real proof that the book itself travels through time
in a linear manner¸ such analysis is speculation at best. What powerful entity
could have created such a marvel? Where is the ultimate repository (if any) of
the wealth of knowledge collected by the Journal in its roving¸ and is its creator
still waiting there¸ learning about the multiverse? It is¸ perhaps¸ better not
to know.

This PDF collects all entries to the 20th Warlocks Journal - Chronomancy Magic - May 2015.
The Warlocks Journal is a contest that is hosted on several blogs/sites¸ each month it hops to a new host. The nature of each contest is up to the host as well as requirements etc. Each contest is compiled into a free PDF.
The 20th journal was hosted at Tinygork.com.
The contest was as follows:
The Journal is drawing from Tiny Gork's library on a very specific subject this time¸ time is exactly what it appears to be interrested in.
The Journal is gathering information on Chronomancy¸ the term that time magic has been stamped with¸ magical spells¸ rituals¸ ceremonies and abilities to manipulate or exploit the concept of time. While the Time Hunters have been known to hunt down as many recipes for time manipulation as possible¸ many still survive scattered across the multiverse.
To participate in the Warlocks Journal May contest 2015¸ design in max. 250 words a Chronomancy Spell/Ritual/Ceremony¸ your submission is to be free of system rules and stats.
As an example the Journal has already recorded the following:
From the interior of The Ancient Obsidian Watcher of Gaaluhm was collected inscriptions that took many ages to decipher¸ once translated it revealed an ancient magical ritual.
The Ritual of The Time Courier.
When completed the Ritual supposedly would allow a message to be sent telepathically through time to a recipient.
The Ritual itself takes a full day to complete¸ during which several ingredients needs to be consumed by burning water.
- the eye of a creature able to pierce the barriers of planes with its gaze.
- the brain of a telepathically strong being.
- a sample of a phoenix's ash.
- fluid from a Time Frog.
As the Ritual approaches it's end¸ the intended recipients true name is spoken and the invoker opens a window through time¸ space and planes and is allowed to speak exactly 25 words in exactly 3 minutes.
Entries were to describe some form of Chronomancy Magic design in 250 words or less¸ the winner recieved a license for RealmWorks by Lonewolf Development.
All submissions were under "free license" for anyone to use anyhow they want¸ including commerically.
A big thank you to all who participated and voted and Lonewolf Development for sponsoring the prize!
Enjoy and keep an eye out on tinygork.com for future contests.
