The Knifehall Thieves of Dusken (Lvl. 4) (5e)
This is a urban-based adventure for four adventures around Lvl. 4¸ which can be easily inserted into any campaign setting. It is a mix of roleplaying/combat¸ where adventurers will travel from seedy inns to thief hideouts and will battle Kenkus¸ halfling rogues¸ and half-orc barbarians. Once a crown jewel of the Rueni empire¸ war¸ disease¸ and economic decay has weakened the city of Dusken¸ bloating it with impoverished refugees and riddled with shanty slums that infest the alcoves and streets of the city. Criminal gangs now control the streets of Dusken and none are more successful than the Knifehall gang¸ a gang of robbers and cutthroats who make it their business to take the city of every bit of wealth. An item of "intimate" value has been stolen from a prominent senator in the city and he seeks adventurers who can be "clandestine" to retrieve it. A missing secret¸ thieving Kenkus¸ and merciless thieves will push the adventurers through Dusken's taverns and into the slums in the heartland of Knifehall territory. Will the adventurers prevail in showing that there is still hope for Dusken or will they end up as throat-slit corpses in a Dusken alley?
