A campaign in the setting will likely include experiences such as poisoning orcs with psychedelic drugs¸ entering into a clockwork invention contest¸ sneaking magic sandals away from giant spiders¸ facing off against a t-rex on a perilous cliff pass¸ getting seduced by harpies¸ leading an angry medusa against a town of monster hunters who violated their contractual agreement¸ hiding in the caves of a canyon pass from a rampaging sandworm¸ taming winged giraffes (who have stumpy little necks because they don't need to reach the tops of trees anymore)¸ getting sucked into quicksand¸ staring down an angry mummy¸ running from a stampede of emus¸ negotiating with xorns¸ fighting a dragon in a pitched airship battle while massive columns of sand rain down from the skies¸ winning a Mad Max-style death race¸ and many more possibilities. If you're looking to run a self-contained desert adventure¸ this is the place to find it. Just pray to the Great Hourglass you aren't trapped beneath its sands forever.
