The Gunslinger Class (5e)
So fun story of how this class came to be. Everybody's got their own take on how a gunslinger should be and I was fine leaving them out of my setting until one of my players asked to play Matt Mercer's Gunslinger. I took a quick look at it¸ found I didn't like it being a simple class option and said to my player¸ "Hold my beer¸ I can make something better." Then I went to make a standalone gunslinger class¸ and it was awful. So once I finally got around to pulling an all-nighter and making a new better version that my player loved. This still isn't the version I put up here¸ see I went and made modular classes for every class and I decided to do one for gunslinger too so I tweaked it some more to get it ready for that. Then I took all those improvements and turned it back into a normal class for 5e with class options instead of modular choices. (Sidenote: if you have my modular classes pack¸ I really don't recommend getting this as you can pretty easily change that class back in the same way I did.) So what's in this version of Gunslinger that makes it better than the dozen or so others on here? Mine has a cute anime girl. Though in all seriousness¸ mine was designed to make firearms a thing but not have them outright replace bows and crossbows as ranged weapons. Gunslingers tweak their guns with various attachments and have several styles for their class options from the dual-wielding stylist¸ the sniper who goes all in for a powerful single shot¸ the run and gun specialist¸ the commando¸ the cunning tactician¸ to the inspiring leader.
