The Dirt Farmers Almanac (5e)
THE DIRT FARMER'S ALMANAC Dishing up the best in dirt¸ loam¸ silt and soil. Announcing the educational and entertaining 5th edition supplement from the honourable and hardworking Guild of Dirt Farmer's. Currently¸ the Guild is all of one member strong. Will you join our ranks? NEW CLASS OPTION: THE DIRT FARMER Travel the realms¸ enhancing the natural world and rugged beauty of the land as the noble Dirt Farmer! The Dirt Farmer class is a brand new class compatible with 5th edition D&D. The class emphasizes having a hardy Constitution to endure the rigors of adventuring¸ limited nature-based spellcasting¸ and the ability to fashion golems of soil¸ clay and rock to accompany and assist you in your travels. WEATHER PREDICTIONS The land speaks to the Dirt Farmer¸ allowing them to discern happenings in the natural world unknown to even the savviest wizard. A year's worth of prognotications (one for each month of the Faerun calendar) will give Dungeon Masters ideas for individual plot hooks¸ weather anomalies¸ and even potential long-term campaign ideas. SPELLS FOR THE JOURNEY Five new spells focused on the relationship between the Dirt Farmer and the land itself will give you additional magical tools for adventuring. WORMS OF THE PLANES What is dirt without worms? And indeed¸ anywhere there is soil¸ there seems to be worms of every variety. The section features seven new worm-creatures to use in your game¸ ranging from CR 1/8 all the way up to CR 23! Creatures include: Oversized Worm¸ Fey Worm¸ Chromatic Worm¸ Demon Worm¸ Devil Worm¸ Celestial Worm and the terrifying Earth¸ Wind & Fire Worm! NEW ADVENTURE: THE LOST CIRCLE A one-shot adventure featuring giant ants¸ teleportation circles¸ an abandoned underground complex¸ and more! This adventure is designed to play in 3-4 hours with a 4th level party of 4-5 adventurers. Printable Map w/Versions for VTTs: The adventure comes with a map of the abandoned complex. Included in your purchase¸ you'll have access to this map in numerous sizes for use on Fantasy Grounds (50 ppi)¸ Roll20 (70 ppi) or to print at home and use with regular-sized miniatures (100 ppi). Each of these has a player- and GM-version¸ both with and without grid overlay¸ to give you options in how you use it. ODDS & ENDS: Want obvious advice for staying warm? Or a prediction for the longevity of pumpkin spice? Probably not¸ but that's here too. This is one of the more random ideas I've ever brought to life¸ but it became a labor of love as I worked on it. I think there are some genuinely cool elements that can be brought into a D&D campaign¸ both for players and DMs. I hope you enjoy the somewhat irreverant theme¸ and get some use out of its contents. If you find any errors that affect comprehension or gameplay¸ let me know and¸ as I'm able¸ I'll update the file(s). With the printable map¸ make sure you are printing at full size as a multi-page document. Much of my other content is here on DM's Guild/DriveThru¸ but for everything else¸ check out my website at bumblingthroughdungeons.com or follow me on Twitter @BTDungeons. Cheers! -Mark
