The Briarthorn: A Tree-Folk Race (5e)
The Briarthorn are a race of humanoid tree-folk born of the Sword Coast's High Forest. With a unique connection to nature and a spirited attitude towards life¸ these lovable plant people bring a sense of wonder to any homebrew D&D campaign. Taking on the traits of the Guardian Tree they are planted under by their parents¸ each Brairthorn looks and behaves depending on the genus of their Guardian's sapline. Neither male nor female Brairthorn see themselves as part of nature itself and defend the wilds from once they came. "Touched by the tears of Silvanus whilst he wept for the despair of his wilds¸ the High Forest to the North of the Sword Coast sprouted new life. Making their home amongst the acre surrounding the Grandfather Tree¸ the Briarthorn bring with them new hope and a kinship to the nature from once they budded. Attuned to the subtle song of nature itself¸ these bright and curious people speak for those who cannot¸ carving a place in the world for all flora and vegetation forms of life who share the world with the common races." - Mia Vogel Contained in this Supplement: A Brand New Homebrew Race - The Briarthorn¸ a tree-folk race perfect for any wooded setting.
