The Adventurer (5e)
The adventurer is a custom class for D&D 5e¸ that captures the heart of the adventure. As your character starts off with ambitious ideas of what they want to be¸ the road will change them for the better or for the worse. Will they become a powerful universalist caster that uses bows as their main defence¸ a persuavive general that aids his fellow warriors or a devout worshipper that wields destructive force. It is up to the player¸ as the journey shapes the character and they evolve from a nobody to a hero of the realm. It's your path to choose. The Adventurer includes - A powerful familiar/ animal companion to help you through the rough times - A Grey hound statblock as an option for your familiar - 3 Archetypes the Inquisitor¸ Commander¸ and the Adept - Optional abilities that make items much stronger such as ball bearings¸ caltrops¸ hunting traps and alchemist fire. - A huge variety of builds¸ Want a strength wizard? This would be a good way to do it. Warning This class is inheriently hard to play but in the hands of an experienced player should be able to make a note worthy character¸ so this is not a class for new players of dungeons and dragons. Another note is that you cannot multiclass into or out of this class¸ because it would destroy the integrity of the class. Thank you for understanding and have fun with the class!
