D&D Two Level Archetypes (5e)
Greetings¸ Inside this package you will have access to five archetypes for characters in a game to pick up. These archetypes only extend to level two¸ offering players a way to further customize their characters and include a lot of RP opportunities for the players and the GM; not to mention the quest lines that can sprawl forth from a character picking up one of these archetypes. These are supposed to be implimented one of two ways¸ one¸ by replacing an earned level with an archtype¸ or two¸ giving an archtype freely as a reward in addition to the character levels. The biggest part of using these classes is to allow players to go on quests¸ journeys¸ explore the world¸ or earn them as rewards for completing difficult quests. For instance¸ a 'Shadow-touched' archetype might only be able to be learned by traveling to dangerous lands and learning from a strange creature. Or perhaps the archetype was unlocked after the players killed a demon and absorbed some of its power. Speaking strictly to GMs in this paragraph¸ it is very easy to manipulate the classes in the game naturally if they would become unfairly used or would ruin the game in another way. For instance¸ since the 'Shadow-touched' archetype is picked up by taking on a pact with evil shadows¸ there is always that looming threat the shadows might attempt to take control¸ which also could create a side-quest players could embark upon to save their ally¸ thus allowing a player to earn their power through struggles and hopefully¸ ultimately¸ victory. Speaking to players in this paragraph¸ these archetypes allow you further adjust your character and deepen your ties to the world¸ allowing you to become something more unique. Additonally¸ these classes offer things no other class inside D&D 5e can¸ allowing each archtype to shine in its own way. The five classes are : Tnkerer¸ Fey Child¸ Shadow Touched¸ Lodestone Wizard¸ and Minor Alchemist
