The Path Not Taken

What if the same moment could be lived again¸ and still come out different?
The Path Not Taken is a supplement for Loner that adds two optional ways to play with time: Time Loop Mode and Time Leap Mode. Replay a critical stretch of your story¸ carry knowledge forward¸ and try to force a better outcome. Or step sideways into alternate timelines where choices have already changed everything.
This book gives you tools for stories about memory¸ identity¸ regret¸ and consequence¸ without changing Loner's core rules. You still use tags¸ oracles¸ and the same simple resolution system. What changes is the shape of time itself.
Track your story with the Time-Web¸ a flexible diagram for checkpoints¸ fixed points¸ leap branches¸ paradox stress¸ and echo selves. Face versions of yourself that never should have existed. Watch allies become strangers. Discover what remains when the past stops behaving.
Use it to tell solo stories where every choice matters¸ every reset costs something¸ and not every timeline can survive being rewritten.
