Trouble at Grimhallow Manor (d20)
Welcome To Grimhallow Manor! Sometimes Evil Doesn't Die.
Trouble at Grimhallow Manor is the latest module from DeepDark Designs. This 48-page bumper adventure is packed to bursting with all of the awfulness¸ misery¸ and lament that you could possibly hope for¸ with a healthy dose of tragedy and sorrow thrown in for good measure. The end result is something quite twisted and we're really rather proud of it.
This dreadful adventure pits 3-5 PCs of 3rd-level against an endless barrage of machinations courtesy of the creepy mansion¸ Grimhallow Manor¸ and the despicable game master to whom it answers. Of course¸ the PCs are not the first such guests of the bloodthirsty manor-house¸ but will they be able to persevere¸ or prevail even¸ where others have failed? Worse still¸ should they fall they may just discover that here¸ within Grimhallow Estate¸ death provides no relief¸ only the prospect of yet more horrors.
Trouble at Grimhallow Manor is a horror-themed adventure that can be easily dropped into most fantasy settings. It provides a standalone experience that doesn't require other adventures or a lot of exposition to make sense of its narrative¸ and it's short enough that it can be completed in just a handful of sessions. Most uniquely¸ Trouble at Grimhallow Manor is also incredibly versatile¸ able to be quickly and easily adapted and modified to suit parties of different levels and sizes thanks to its innovative 'machinations' system. Best of all¸ the entire product is provided in a variety of formats¸ including 'standard'¸ 'printer-friendly'¸ and 'super printer-friendly' - so that you can make the most of it at your table.
Trouble at Grimhallow Manor is also available in physical print as part of a compendium that collates the two other adventure anthology modules (Woes of the Whispering Tree & The Beast of Brookhayven).
