old war has settled on the Churn¸ its nations primed and ready to strike at the first sign
of weakness. Covertly¸ quietly¸ relentlessly they hunt for knowledge and materials¸ each
nation aware that any new discovery could tip the scales in their favor.
Then came the Weaving. Every kind of man-made object¸ from architecture to machine¸
was embedded across the planet¸ littering the Churn's landscape with Earth's
technologies. So to were the people of Earth. Bodies fell from the sky¸ materialized inside
solid objects and¸ most commonly¸ dropped into the ocean miles from any hope of rescue.
Only a lucky few managed to traverse the Weaving safely¸ left with no choice but to find
their place in this strange new world.
Now smoke from the Dwarven forges can be seen shimmering over the horizon¸ Elvish
long boats have been spotted floating above the plateau of Nova Gale¸ the mercenary Grey
Legions are soon to be free of their contract with Isla¸ corpses wearing the garb of the old
human empire have begun to wash upon the shore and¸ worse yet¸ the Orcs have
ceased their infighting. The Gods grow weary of this stalemate between nations and begin
to move their followers as they vie for power and settle debts. Far and wide the powder
keg that is the Churn grows more restless¸ awaiting the spark that will change it forever.
