Darkmeade is a FREE adventure for fifth edition fantasy roleplaying¸ written with a special focus on young Gamemasters of ages twelve and up. This one-shot adventure can be played as a sequel to The Hidden Halls of Hazako r and a prequel to the upcoming Mystery at Millwarren. Both those books are written in a friendly and straightforward fashion for new and beginning young GMs¸ offering not just a fun adventure but plenty of tips and advice on running great games.
Scott Fitzgerald Gray (9th-level layabout¸ vindictive neutral) is a writer of fantasy and speculative fiction¸ a fiction editor¸ a story editor¸ and an editor and designer of roleplaying games - all of which means he finally has the job he really wanted when he was sixteen. His work in gaming covers three editions of the Dungeons & Dragons RPG¸ including working as an editor on all three core rulebooks for fifth edition D&D. He's written and edited upwards of two hundred books¸ adventures¸ and articles for Wizards of the Coast¸ Schwalb Entertainment's Shadow of the Demon Lord¸ Sly Flourish¸ Gamehole Publishing¸ Green Ronin¸ Frog God Games¸ and others¸ as well as producing adventures and gaming supplements under the Insane Angel Studios imprint.
Jackie Musto is a comic creator¸ illustrator¸ and educator. She's been working for nearly a decade creating fantastical worlds¸ daring adventurers¸ and monstrous beasts¸ and spent her childhood lost in roleplaying worlds and games. While playing tabletop games as a teenager¸ her career path was decided - she wanted to be the person who drew the amazing illustrations that brought those games to life! Now it's her pleasure to fulfill her dream and help other young folks get entranced and creative with their own ideas and stories.
