Critical Feats (d20)
So your character has just attacked and BAM; Natural 20! You score a critical threat! You follow up the roll and confirm the critical¸ adding X2 damage to the…WAIT¸ You don't want to do that¸ not when you can have your cleric deliver a savage blow with his war hammer¸ breaking the infidel's sword arm in the process!
Hold on just a second.
Breaking his arm? What's that you say? You can't do that…
With Critical Feats now you can!
Critical Feats is a selection of 40 new feats designed to add spice to the critical hit mechanic. No longer do you have to simply take the same old damage over and over again each time you score a critical hit. Now¸ a critical hit can knock your opponent out¸ slash his throat¸ break a limb or even rupture a lung!
Ladies and gentlemen¸ combat just got more dangerous.
Muahahahaha!!!
Here's a taste of the gritty content you'll find in Critical Feats:
Strangle Shot [Critical]
Your critical strike catches your opponent about the neck.
Prerequisites: Dex 15¸ Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Bola)¸ Point Blank Shot¸ Precise Shot
Benefit: Upon confirmation of a critical hit you may forgo the additional damage in favor of having your bola strangle your target. The target makes a Fort save (DC 10 + _ HD + Dex modifier) or begin to be strangled. A strangled opponent can take a single action each round for a number of rounds equal to their Constitution modifier. At the end of that time¸ if they have not freed themselves (see Bola below) they fall unconscious. A strangle shot only works on animals¸ fey¸ giants¸ humanoids¸ and monstrous humanoids of the same size as you or smaller.
In addition¸ you will also find a new spell - Knit Bone -¸ two new magical weapons and much more!
