Alignments & Role-playing (d20)
My 18th Guide this time on the subject of good old fashion Roleplaying. I'm offering a guide to help DMs and Players make their characters feel real.
>>> It's a collection of thoughts and systems I have for roleplaying. Including a simple change to alignments to make them make better characters. It also includes thoughts on evil characters. <<<
It gives complex alignments that allow the heroes to behave differently with their friends and enemies. Important to making real feelings evils characters who can still interact within a party.- Jill Baker is a paladin of the highest good. But when it comes to the pagan orcs who destroyed her village¸ she is ruthless and cruel.
- Irish O'harbor-Edden the 4th will pick the pockets of every poor fool who crosses his path¸ but he works extra hard to prove his loyalty to those he travels with.
- Urmal the Wanderer is an uncaring mercenary but becomes a blushing good-doer when he with the fey.
Having heroes that have some contradictions and exceptions makes their alignments become more useful and dynamic.
